This is the CSS basic file that the W3C suggests be incorporated into browsers. As best I can tell, they all follow the basic idea, but none follows it exactly. You can try to use this as your own default stylesheet, but I expect there will be places where the internal browser stylesheet will show through and cause problems. Thus I have come up with my own default CSS starting point that carries few surprises once you get used to its principles.
